Marvel has released a new cinematic trailer for Marvel Rivals. Additionally, they have confirmed three new characters: Doctor Doom, Thor, and Jeff the Land Shark.
Marvel has had a massively successful lineup of video games over the past few years. From 2018’s Spider-Man to 2020’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales to 2021’s Guardians of the Galaxy to the recent release of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. They will release more games in the future, such as Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra, Wolverine, and an Iron Man game from Motive.
Marvel Rivals Showcases New Characters and Trailer
Marvel has released a new cinematic trailer for Marvel Rivals. The stunning trailer hints at the game’s premise and showcases some of the already announced characters like Magik, Iron Man, Peni Parker, Black Panther, Rocket Racoon, and more. Additionally, it also reveals two new characters: Doctor Doom and Thor. In a separate trailer, Marvel also confirmed the addition of one of the most beloved and adorable Marvel characters: Jeff the Land Shark.

Currently, a closed beta is ongoing for Marvel Rivals. The beta is available on the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. It allows you to play as most of the announced roster thus far, including Spider-Man, Scarlet Witch, the Punisher, Doctor Strange, Loki, Storm, Venom, and more. Further both Jeff the Land Shark and Thor will be added to the beta via a patch on July 27.
Marvel Rivals will release at some point in the future on the PlayStation 5, PC, and the Xbox Series X|S.
