FromSoftware initially released Elden Ring in February 2022 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. The game went on to become the most successful Soulslike game ever released by FromSoftware. In early 2023, FromSoftware announced Elden Ring would receive a new DLC expansion titled Shadow of the Erdtree.
In the Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree expansion, players will venture into the Land of Shadow to discover new mysteries and danger. Follow in the footsteps of Miquella, face new bosses, and acquire gear in a brand-new Elden Ring story. Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree will release on June 21 for $39.99 across all aforementioned platforms, and pre-orders are available now.
Bandai Namco is hosting the “Return to Grace Elden Ring Video Contest” with an epic life-sized statue as the grand prize. To be eligible to win, the submitted video must use official Bandai Namco-provided assets or the player’s own footage of the game. No mods are allowed to be used, and the video must be under five minutes long.
Previously, it was reported that Tencent will be developing a mobile version of Elden Ring. Tencent acquired the licensing rights back in 2022, and the mobile version is supposedly still in the early prototype phase. While Elden Ring was designed as a premium game, Tencent wants to make it a free-to-play game with in-app purchases, similar to the hit game Genshin Impact.
