Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance Daily Demon Video Introduces Kaya-no-Hime

    The goddess of grass returns.

    SEGA and ATLUS have released a new “Daily Demon” video for Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance, introducing the demon Kaya-no-Hime. This demon was previously featured in the original Shin Megami Tensei V

    The April 24 Daily Demon video for Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance introduced Fenrir, a giant wolf in Scandinavian mythology. Fenrir is the son of Loki, and he’s destined to devour Odin during the end of the world. On the Day of Ragnarök, it’s believed that Fenrir would break free from his chains and fight against the Norse gods.

    Returning in Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance, Kaya-no-Hime is the goddess of grass in Japanese mythology. The name, Kaya, refers to the sedge used for hatching roofs. This grass is very near and dear to humans, naturally giving life to the spirit and goddess of grass.

    Fans in Japan may look forward to ATLUS Fest, which will be held from June 8 to June 9 in Akihabara to celebrate the 35th anniversary of the company. The event will feature demos for both Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance and Metaphor: ReFantazio. Alongside the demos, attendees can expect merchandise sales, stage events, and exhibitions

    ATLUS recently confirmed that Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance is Steam Deck verified. This means that the game is fully functional using the Steam Deck’s default configuration and graphics settings, and the text is legible on Steam Deck with proper icons. 

    Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance is coming to Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam on June 14 worldwide. The game is available to pre-order now digitally in the PlayStation Store, Microsoft Store, and Steam for $59.99. In addition, physical pre-orders are available now at participating retailers.
