    Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance is Steam Deck Verified

    SEGA and ATLUS announced that Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance, is now Steam Deck verified, ensuring full compatibility with the handheld PC device.

    Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance will feature the new Canon of Vengeance story, new demons, additional features, and previously released DLC from the original Shin Megami Tensei V. This past March, the release date of Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance was moved up by a week to June 14, promoting excitement from fans. The second official trailer also confirmed a new Nahobino form alongside a new dungeon, various demons, and slew of additional quests. 

    Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance is Ready for Steam Deck

    In a new Steam blog post, ATLUS confirmed that Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance is Steam Deck verified. This means that the game is fully functional using the Steam Deck’s default configuration and graphics settings, and the text is legible on Steam Deck with proper icons. 

    What’s more, a Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance “premium play experience” demo event will be held from May 3 to 4 in Japan. Attendees may play up to six hours of the game’s new scenario. Applications for players in Japan were available until March 31 at 23:59 JST.

    The Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance Godhood Guild is now live as a special club for MegaTen fans. Members who sign up at the official website will receive special perks, including sneak peeks of content drops, merch giveaways, and more news. 

    Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance is coming to Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam on June 14 worldwide. The game is available to pre-order now digitally in the PlayStation Store, Microsoft Store, and Steam for $59.99. In addition, physical pre-orders are available now at participating retailers.

    Lastly, the Digital Deluxe Edition is available to pre-order right now for $69.99 featuring Mitama Dance of Wealth, Mitama Dance of EXP, Mitama Dance of Miracles, Sakura Cinders of the East, and Holy Will and Profane Dissent. The Sakura Cinders of the East DLC includes Konohana Sakuya, and the Holy Will and Profane Dissent DLC features Dagda from Shin Megami Tensei IV: Apocalypse
