Koei Tecmo and Type-Moon revealed new details about the story of Fate/Samurai Remnant DLC 2 Record’s Fragment: Yagyu Sword Chronicles , which launches on April 18. The scenario will feature the new Rogue Saber, Yagyu Munenori.
After Fate/Samurai Remnant’s launch, Koei Tecmo ensured fans that new updates and DLC will be released over time. The most recent series of updates brought support for the Vol. 1 Record’s Fragment: Keian Command Championship starring Gilgamesh. More DLC is on the way, with Fate/Samurai Remnant Record’s Fragment: Yagyu Sword Chronicles and another DLC pack releasing this year.
Fate/Samurai Remnant DLC 2 Record’s Fragment: Yagyu Sword Chronicles Story and New Screenshots
The Fate/Samurai Remnant Record’s Fragment: Yagyu Sword Chronicles DLC will release first on Steam on April 17 at 6:00 p.m. PST / 9:00 p.m. EST, followed by consoles on April 18 at 9:00 p.m. PST / 12:00 a.m. EST. In the new DLC, Miyamoto Iori and Saber will investigate night killings happening in Edo, with Tsujigiri on the loose. While investigating the matter, the two run into Yagyu Munenori.

Tsujigiri, a murderer of tremendous skill. A mysterious deadly blade.
Miyamoto Iori and Saber, who are investigating the situation at the behest of Sukenoshin, are confronted by a swordsman of superior skills. A Servant.
Is this the rumored Tsujigiri?
Just as they wonder, the Servant suddenly lowers his sword to introduce himself.
“…I am Yagyu Munenori.
A figment of human history, and now a swordsman with no master.”
A newly arrived Rogue Saber, a master of swordsmanship, whose True Name is Yagyu Tajima-no-Kami Munenori.
What is his purpose? And what is his connection to Tsujigiri?
Accompanied by the new Servant, Iori and Saber traverse the blood-soaked streets of Edo.
Koei Tecmo and Type-Moon also released a new key visual to reveal the DLC’s name and Yagyu Munenori’s character design.

The Fate/Samurai Remnant original soundtrack released on March 27 for 4,620 yen in Japan. This release includes 89 tracks across 4 CDs, including the opening theme song. Moreover, the release includes a download code for five new songs from the game’s upcoming DLC.
Lastly, Fate/Samurai Remnant is available now for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam.
