Marvel has officially announced Marvel Rivals, an Overwatch-esque 6v6 PVP shooter with a massive cast of beloved Marvel characters. The game will release on PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store. Further, a Closed Alpha Test has also been announced.
Marvel has had a massively successful lineup of video games over the past few years. From 2018’s Spider-Man to 2020’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales to 2021’s Guardians of the Galaxy to the recent release of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. They will release more games in the future, such as Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra, Wolverine, and an Iron Man game from Motive.
Marvel Rivals Revealed, First Details Confirmed
Marvel Entertainment and NetEase Games recently announced Marvel Rivals. The upcoming game is an Overwatch-esque PVP 6v6 shooter. The game features a massive cast of beloved characters from across the Marvel multiverse, including Spider-Man, the Hulk, Namor, Storm, Iron Man, Loki, Magneto, Black Panther, Magik, and even Peni Parker and her Spider-Mech, “SP//dr.” Check out the first trailer below:
