    Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot Goku’s Next Journey DLC Gameplay Footage Revealed

    The new DLC releases later this month.

    Bandai Namco and CyberConnect2 released new gameplay footage for the new Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot “Goku’s Next Journey” DLC, which will release in February 2024. This new DLC tells the story of Goku and Uub during the end of the original Dragon Ball Z anime. 

    Last August, “The 23rd World Tournament” DLC brought Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot players back to the original Dragon Ball manga and anime to relive the showdown between Goku and Piccolo (Ma Junior). Unlike the battles from Dragon Ball Z, The World Tournament’s rules restrict combat to the floor. The next DLC takes players near the end of the original Dragon Ball timeline with Goku finally meeting the reincarnation of Majin Buu, Uub.

    The new DLC sees Goku finally meet Uub ten years after the defeat of Majin Buu in Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot. In the new gameplay footage, Goku (Blue Gi) may be seen fighting and training with Goten from the end of Dragon Ball Z.

    “The wish of 10 years ago has now been granted. Goku meets Uub in Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot‘s new DLC – Goku’s Next Journey, coming in February 2024.”

    Fans may also look forward to Dragon Ball Sparking ZERO, which features brings a “historic” roster of characters and newer fan-favorites from Dragon Ball Super. In fact, the game is speculated to have 164 playable characters in total. Thanks to Unreal Engine 5, Dragon Ball Sparking ZERO features incredible visuals, dynamic effects, and in-game weather changes when transforming or charging ki. 

    Lastly, Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot is available now for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. The 23rd World Tournament and Goku’s Next Journey DLCs are included with Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot Season Pass 2.
