PlayStation Studios and Kojima Productions announced the Hideo Kojima – Connecting Worlds documentary will premiere on February 23, exclusively on Disney Plus. As the name suggests, it is a documentary dedicated to the prolific video game director, with a focus on Death Stranding and Kojima Productions’ independence.
Hideo Kojima is one of the most beloved and iconic game directors in the entire medium. One of his main accomplishments is the long-running Metal Gear franchise. As the head of Kojima Productions, Kojima is also leading development of OD with Xbox Game Studios and Death Stranding 2: On the Beach.

Originally slated for a spring 2024 premiere, the Hideo Kojima – Connecting Worlds documentary will premiere on February 23 worldwide. Once more, it will be exclusive to the Disney Plus streaming service. Glen Milner served as director for the documentary, and Disney updated the official key visual with the new release date.
