Toei has released the highlights for the recent Dragon Ball Super: Beerus “Special Panel” it held during New York Comic Con 2026. The panel featured 3,000 attendees.
The panel featured a screening of the first episode in the anime, which is available to watch on several streaming services. A press release reveals that, “Before the screening, Dragon Ball Super English dub voice actors Mr. Jason Douglas (Beerus) and Mr. Ian Sinclair (Whis), together with Ms. Monica Rial (Bulma) as MC, took to the stage to talk about the appeal and highlights of the series and were joined by comments from Ms. Masako Nozawa, the voice of Son Goku, and Mr. Koichi Yamadera, the voice of the God of Destruction Beerus.”
It also outlines the booth that attendees had access to during the event: “At the booth, the SUPER Launch Visual artwork of Beerus and Goku and standing statues of Beerus and Whis were on display, alongside playable stations for Dragon Ball Super Card Game Fusion World and DRAGON BALL XENOVERSE 3 and a lineup of figures, drawing large crowds of fans. Visitors received a Comic Con bag featuring the SUPER Launch Visual and a Super Saiyan God Goku headset, with a promotional card or a lanyard for anyone who tried the card game or XENOVERSE 3. The updates spanned the entire DRAGON BALL series, arriving as a run of announcement videos, along with the S.H.Figuarts Super Saiyan 4 Son Goku -Exclusive Edition- figure.”
Dragon Ball Super Beerus is an enhanced version of the Dragon Ball Super anime with improved animation and sound, redrawn cuts, and a “reconstructed narrative.” The anime covers the events of the God of Destruction Beerus Arc (Battle of Gods), Frieza’s Revival Arc (Resurrection of F), and Universe 6 Arc. Lastly, it is now streaming Hulu and Crunchyroll. It will stream on Netflix on October 17.
