TYPE-MOON first announced Melty Blood: Twi-Lumina in September 2026. It will launch on April 22, 2027, for Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and PC via Steam. In a new post, TYPE-MOON simply stated that, “Announced at Evo France today, get ready for the next round of reveals for MELTY BLOOD: TWI-LUMINA this coming November!”

As previously announced, the fighting game sequel will feature new characters and refined battle mechanics. The main cast of Melty Blood: Twi-Lumina includes Ryosuke Kanemoto as Shiki Tohno and Kaori Ishihara as Len. During Tokyo Game Show 2026, we had the chance to attend a behind-closed-doors session covering Melty Blood: Twi-Lumina with Director Kamone Serizawa.
After the presentation, a Q&A session opened, and Serizawa-san was asked a question by James Galizio of RPG Site about a potential Tsukihime -A piece of blue glass moon- PC port. While Serizawa-san acknowledged that a PC port was out of his control, as he does not work for Type-Moon or Aniplex, he shared that he personally thinks it is “very important” and would like to see it happen, especially given the popularity of Melty Blood on PC. No Aniplex staff in the room commented on the matter, but it’s safe to say that, like many, Kamone Serizawa would also like to see Tsukihime -A piece of blue glass moon- come to PC.
