    Square Enix Shares Final Fantasy VII Rebirth February 2024 Wallpaper

    A sword marks the date of Rebirth's release.

    Square Enix has shared a new Final Fantasy VII Rebirth wallpaper for February 2024. The wallpaper features the December key visual of the party looking on at Gaia, which was created by Tetsuya Nomura. At the bottom of the visual, a calendar for February has been placed.

    You’ll notice two key events for February 2024. The first is February 7, which is Aerith Gainsborough’s birthday. Second, a sword is struck through February 29, the day Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is set to hit the market. It’s an interesting way to indicate release day, to say the least.

    Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is the sequel to the critically acclaimed Final Fantasy VII Remake. It is the second entry in the Remake Project, a collection of three games recreating and reimagining the story and world of Final Fantasy VIIFinal Fantasy VII Remake launched worldwide exclusively for PlayStation 4 on April 10, 2020. Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade, an expanded and enhanced version of the PS4 title, was announced for PlayStation 5 in the following year.

    A tremendous amount of information has been confirmed for Rebirth thus far, including confirmation of non-playable Vincent & Cid, a “new episode with Zack,” the file size of the game, and more. Leading up to launch, Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children Complete will return to theaters in both Japan and the USA. A special short film will premiere alongside the movie, featuring new interviews with key FFVII creators. Kitase, Hamaguchi, and Nomura will all appear in this film.

    Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is set to launch exclusively for PlayStation 5 on February 29, 2024. The title will be exclusive to the platform until May 29, 2024. A Standard Edition, Deluxe Edition, and Collector’s Edition are available to pre-order now.
