    Memories Off 1 – 7 Coming to Steam Without English Support

    Launching with Japanese and Chinese language options.

    Spike Chunsoft and MAGES. announced Memories Off 1 through 7 are all coming to PC via Steam. However, all seven of these Memories Off visual novels will not support an English text option.

    The Memories Off visual novel series began with the very first entry on September 30, 1999 for the original PlayStation console in Japan. A total of seven mainline titles have been released, but the franchise also includes numerous prequels, spin-offs, and anime. The 25th anniversary Memories Off Sousou: Not always true game is coming in 2024, and PC gamers can own the series on Steam soon. 

    Memories Off 1 – 7 on Steam

    Memories Off, Memories Off 2nd, Omoide Ni Kawaru Kimi Memories Off, Memories Off Sorekara, Memories Off #5 Togireta Film, Memories Off6 T-wave, and Memories Off Yubikiri No Kioku will be available on Steam with Japanese, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese language support. A release date was not announced, and English will not be supported in all seven releases.

    This past September, MAGES. revealed the new Memories Off Sousou: Not always true visual novel and its talented staff. Mutsumi Sasaki returns to the Memories Off series as the character designer for the new title. Steins;Gate series main writer Naotaka Hayashi returns as the scenario writer. Moreover, Science Adventure series composer Takeshi Abo is in charge of the game’s soundtrack. Abo’s most recent work is ANONYMOUS;CODE

    The new 25th anniversary title is a “new Memories Off” instead of a culmination of the series. Memories Off Sousou: Not always true is coming to multiple platforms in 2024 in Japan, but exact platforms have not been announced. MAGES. hopes fans look forward to more information about the new visual novel, however.
