Chaos;Head Noah is finally available in the west for the first time on Nintendo Switch, and many of the game’s endings are waiting to be reached. The journey toward the true ending may be complex as delusion triggers are the key component behind focusing into specific routes.
Chaos;Head Noah features nine total endings with the ninth becoming available after completing the eight previous routes. Illustrations, tips, and certain scenes are available to view in the Extras menu. Additionally, endings are tracked in the Extras menu. Potential spoilers lie ahead, and players should complete the first playthrough to obtain ending A, which is known as “silent sky.”

Key
ZL (Left Trigger) = Positive Delusion Trigger
ZR (Right Trigger) = Negative Delusion Trigger
None = Advance without use of Positive or Negative Delusion Trigger
L = Fast Forward/Skip Button
Special Note: Saves at the beginning of each chapter may be useful to cut down on time, but some routes may still not trigger if starting from a previous save. Starting a playthrough (press Start at the title menu) acts as a soft reset for the next route.
Route A
The first ending is reached by playing through the game for the first time. Positive and Negative delusions do not affect the outcome of this route. Route A is best for experiencing major plot points and characters while becoming acquainted with the delusion trigger system. Miscellaneous note: every box in the medical sheet may be checked in Chapter 2 for a tip found in the Extras menu.
Route B
Specific choices and delusion trigger activations must be made to reach the second ending of Chaos;Head Noah. Like Route A, Route B features nine chapters. Players should keep track of choices made as they proceed.
The following sequence will ensure the ending is reached:
Start
- Chapter 1 – NO, NO, NO, None, NO, NO, YES, YES, NO, ZR, None, ZR, None
- Chapter 2 – None, None, leave boxes unchecked in medical chart and press OK, ZL, ZL
- Chapter 3 – ZR, None, ZL, ZR, ZR, None
- Chapter 4 – None, None, None, ZR, ZR
- Chapter 5 – ZL, None, ZL, None, ZR

Ending B reached.
Rimi Route
Rimi is the main heroine of Chaos;Head Noah, so her route is just as involved as Routes A and B.
Start
- Chapter 1 – YES, YES, YES, ZL, YES, NO, YES, NO, YES, None, ZR, None, ZR
- Chapter 2 – ZR, ZR, OK, None, None

Rimi’s ending reached.
Special Note: Playthroughs 3 through 8 includes skippable portions since decisions through many of the chapters will not matter. The YES and NO sequence in Scramble Crossing remains the same in Chapter 6.
Nanami Route
Start
Chapter 1 – YES, YES, YES, ZR, ZL, NO, YES, NO, YES, YES
Skip all the way to Chapter 6 at the Scramble Crossing. Nanami’s route omits the YES and NO sequence (YES, YES, NO, NO, YES) in Chapter 6 entirely and the game progresses into Chapter 7.
Play to the end to reach Nanami’s ending.
Ayase Route
The player may start from a Chapter 2 save file if saved at the very beginning of the chapter, or Start fresh with a new playthrough. A new YES and NO sequence begins when Takumi first meets Ayase at her performance.
Chapter 2 – ZR, ZR, OK, ZR, YES, NO, YES, YES, YES
Skip to Chapter 6 – YES, YES, NO, NO, YES
Play to the end to reach Ayase’s ending.
Sena Route
The player may start from a Chapter 3 save file if saved at the very beginning of the chapter, or Start fresh with a new playthrough. A new YES and NO sequence begins when Sena approaches Takumi and asks him about the Di-Sword.
Chapter 3 – None, YES, YES, YES, YES, NO
Skip to Chapter 6 – YES, YES, NO, NO, YES
Play to the end to reach Sena’s ending
Kozue Route
The player may start from a Chapter 3 save file if saved at the very beginning of the chapter, or Start fresh with a new playthrough. A new YES and NO sequence begins when Kozue transfers to Takumi’s class.
Chapter 3 – ZL, ZL, ZL, ZL, YES, YES, YES, YES, NO
Skip to Chapter 6 – YES, YES, NO, NO, YES
Play to the end to reach Kozue’s ending
Yua Route
Since Yua’s route begins at the very start of the game, it’s best to Start fresh with a new playthrough.
Chapter 1 – YES, YES, YES, None, NO, NO, YES, YES, YES
Skip to Chapter 6 – YES, YES, NO, NO, YES
Play to the end to reach Yua’s ending
True Ending
With eight routes complete, a new “Blue Sky” option appears in the Main Menu. The ninth route is rather short and continues in a new direction from the game’s first ending. A lengthy YES and NO sequence awaits.
Blue Sky – YES, YES, NO, NO, NO, YES, YES, YES, YES, YES, YES, YES, YES, YES, YES
