    Sea of Stars iam8bit Exclusive Physical Edition Shipping in Q2 2024

    Iam8bit and Sabotage Studio have revealed the Sea of Stars exclusive physical edition and its features. The edition will ship in Q2 2024.

    Sea of Stars is a new turn-based RPG inspired by classic Japanese RPGs from the 90s. Examples include Xenogears, Chrono Trigger, and Final Fantasy. Xenoblade Chronicles series composer Yasunori Mitsuda contributed to the stellar soundtrack of Sea of Stars. The game sold 100,000 copies on launch day. It sold several more copies in the subsequent six days.

    Sabotage Studio and Iam8bit has revealed the Sea of Stars exclusive physical edition. The upcoming edition will be available for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X. It will cost $44.99 and include the following:

    Sea of Stars is a day one title for PlayStation Plus Game Catalog, so downloads do not count toward sales. PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium members may redeem and download the game right now at no additional cost. The game is available on both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 digitally. 

    The story of the game is described as follows: “Sea of Stars is a turn-based RPG inspired by the classics. It tells the story of two Children of the Solstice who will combine the powers of the sun and moon to perform Eclipse Magic, the only force capable of fending off the monstrous creations of the evil alchemist known as The Fleshmancer.”
