HoYoverse revealed several new details about events arriving during phase 1 of Honkai: Star Rail Version 1.6, which begins on December 27. These events will be active until the beginning of phase 2 in mid-January 2024.
Honkai: Star Rail Version 1.6 will bring new story content, limited-time events, and new playable characters, such as Ruan Mei and Xueyi. Like previous updates, Version 1.6 will be divided into two phases that will last for multiple weeks.
Honkai: Star Rail Version 1.6 Phase 1 Events
Once Honkai: Star Rail Version 1.6 is available, players may from the new “A Lost Soul” and “Floral Triptych” Event Warp featuring 5-star characters Blade and Ruan Mei respectively. These Event Warps will be active until January 17 with Xueyi, March 7th, and Tingyun as the featured 4-star characters. Those wanting to test out the characters in actual combat before summoning may do so with limited-time Character Trials.
Moreover, the Brilliant Fixation and Bygone Renaissance Event Warps will be available with 5-star “Past Self in Mirror” (Harmony) and “The Unreachable Side” (Destruction) Light Cones. The following 4-star Light Cones will be available as well:
- Planetary Rendezvous (Harmony)
- Day One of My New Life (Preservation)
- A Secret Vow (Destruction)
From December 27 to February 5, Honkai: Star Rail players may participate in the Critter Pick event after completing a new Adventure Mission. During this event, players can nurture and customize little creatures. These creatures may undergo genetic mutations, leading to the acquisition of new traits or rare creations. Raising the Research Level during this event will result in additional rewards, according to HoYoLab.
The Simulated Universe: Gold and Gears will be permanently available starting December 27. This new Simulated Universe brings all-new Blessings, Curios, Random Occurrences, and Adventure Occurrences. Complete challenges and collect secrets to earn enticing rewards, including Stellar Jades.
Several Honkai: Star Rail updates will be released in 2024, so there’s a lot of new content to look forward to. Potential collaborations between Honkai: Star Rail and Falcom could bring Trails or Ys characters in the game as well. Falcom president Toshihiro Kondo is “ready” to collaborate with HoYoverse.
Lastly, Honkai: Star Rail is available now for Android, iOS, PlayStation 5, and PC via Epic Games Store.
