HoYoverse announced the Honkai: Star Rail Version 1.6 “Crown of the Mundane and Divine” update launches on December 27. Players will soon return to the Herta Space Station and meet Ruan Mei for the first time, and Dr. Ratio will make his debut as a free 5-star character.
Version 1.6 continues directly after the events of the previous update, which say players resolve a crisis in Fyxestroll Garden. The Trailblazer is called back to Herta Space Station, since Ruan Mei encountered an anomaly in the form of a Swarm King prototype and a fierce Swarm Disaster entity. Following Mei’s experiment, the “Borehole Planet’s Old Crater” came into being in the Seclusion Zone of Herta Space Station, so players must venture forth and correct the situation.
Honkai: Star Rail Version 1.6 Finally Brings Ruan Mei and Dr. Ratio
After much anticipation, Ruan Mei and Dr. Ratio will make their debut in Honkai: Star Rail Version 1.6 as playable characters alongside Xueyi. Firstly, Ruan Mei is a 5-star Ice-type character following the Path of Harmony, and she’s the 81th member of the Genius Society. She’s also one of the founders of the Simulated Universe. Mei’s Skill, Strings Sing in Slow Twirls, can increase damage and Weakness Break’s efficiency of all allies. She may also exploit an enemy’s weakness and offer support to the Break Effect dealt by allies.
Dr. Ratio is a free 5-star Imaginary-type character following the Path of the Hunt, and he belongs to the the Intelligentsia Guild. As an academic researcher, Dr. Ratio pays close attention to enemy debuffs in battle. He has a great chance of launching a follow-up attack against enemies with more debuffs. Players may recruit Dr. Ratio for free by simply logging in after the update launches.
Xueyi is 4-star Quantum-type character following the Path of Destruction. Her original body was replaced a permanent puppet system, which was constructed by the Ten-Lords Commission. With every culprit that Xueyi apprehends, she is rewarded with “a half day’s wakespan.” Xueyi is a very capable fighter just like her sister Hanya. Xueyi’s Ultimate, Divine Castigation, deals Quantum DMG to a single target and Toughness depletion, which ignores Weakness Types.
Honkai: Star Rail players may also look forward to Gold and Gears, which is Simulated Universe “DLC” that Ruan Mei developed. Moreover, the Trailblazer will be tasked with fostering and tending to cute lifeforms in the Critter Pick Scavenging event. Players can expect several gameplay improvements, additional Forgotten Hall stages, and much more as well.
