Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP Includes ‘Uncensored’ Juliet Costume

    Meeting fan expectations.

Dragami Games producer Yoshimi Yoshida confirms that Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP will include an “uncensored” Juliet costume. A screenshot featuring Juliet’s bunny costume was also revealed.

Lollipop Chainsaw remake is one of Dragami Games’ first projects following the studio’s founding in May 2022. This past August, Dragami Games retitled the remake to Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP and delayed its release to 2024. Next year, fans of the original game can expect Juliet to feature an uncensored costume of some kind.

Juliet Gets Uncensored Costume in Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP

In a new tweet from Yoshimi Yoshida, the producer reveals that Juliet will have an uncensored costume in Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP. Yoshida did not go into detail about the costume, but he did share a screenshot of Juliet in her bunny costume. At the very least, Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP will be faithful to the original game.

Dragami Games has not revealed platforms for the upcoming remake of Lollipop Chainsaw just yet. The original game was developed by Grasshopper Manufacture, which is led by Suda-51. Lollipop Chainsaw released on June 12, 2012 for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 worldwide.

Although Grasshopper Manufacture is not directly involved with development of the remake, fans may look forward to a new Shadows of the Damned remaster. The remaster is “probably” coming to all platforms according to the studio.

Lastly, here’s an overview of Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP from the Xbox 360 Marketplace

Bursting with sex, blood, and rock ‘n’ roll, Lollipop Chainsaw is the ‘un-deadly’ story of a sweet and killer zombie hunter and her quest to uncover the root of a colossal zombie outbreak. With her wickedly awesome chainsaw in hand, Juliet slices, dices and splits her way through hordes of the undead, but soon realizes the horde is only the opening act to a festival of zombie rock lords determined to kill the chainsaw wielding cheerleader.
