Grasshopper Manufacture announced Shadows of the Damned Remaster is “coming to all current platforms, probably.” This news was shared in a Grasshopper Manufacture 2023 Direct, which featured off some bizarre trailers. Moreover, an official release date for the upcoming remaster was not announced.
Grasshopper Manufacture Direct celebrates the company’s 25th anniversary with the first-ever “Grasshopper Manufacture Direct.” Fans may view the video by visiting the company’s official YouTube channel. The newly published video shows some gameplay footage of Shadows of the Damned Remaster with protagonist Garcia Hotspur hunting demons and causing chaos. Grasshopper Manufacture did not share further details about the remaster, however.
Alongside Shadows of the Damned Remaster, Goichi “Suda51” Suda teased a new game in development with off-screen footage. The game appears to be an action-adventure game with ability button mapping, weapon slots, and a potential time mechanic. Unfortunately, the available footage does not reveal much more about the game.

Grasshopper Manufacture fans may also look forward to a remake of Lollipop Chainsaw by Dragami Games. Further details about the remake were not announced, but the original title celebrates its 11th anniversary today. Producer Yoshimi Yasuda tells fans to “please wait for the official announcement of the title in development” on Twitter.
