NetherRealm Studios has announced that Mortal Kombat 1 will not have cross-play when the game launches next week. They will add the feature to the game after its release.
Mortal Kombat 1 is the long-anticipated next entry in the beloved Mortal Kombat franchise. The game will release on September 19 and will feature a wide variety of unique characters and brand-new ways to play. Tomorrow, NRS will have a Kombat Kast dedicated to the last major information about the game before it releases next week.
Cross-Play Delayed in Mortal Kombat 1
In a recent tweet, NetherRealm Studios confirmed the delay:
Earlier today, NetherRealm Studios revealed the launch trailer for Mortal Kombat 1. The trailer showed off the first major footage for Shang Tsung and the last confirmed character in the roster, Reiko. The company will air a new Kombat Kast tomorrow dedicated to the few characters that have not yet been revealed for the game, including Shang Tsung. Fans should stay tuned for more information on the gameplay in Mortal Kombat 1 in the coming days.
