Ys X: Nordics Shares ‘System Introduction’ Trailer

Another look into the Sandras ship and the Growth system.

Clouded Leopard Entertainment and Nihon Falcom released a new trailer for Ys X: Nordics introducing the game’s systems, including ship faring and the EXP system. This new action RPG will be roughly 50 to 60 hours long, so players have plenty to discover and enjoy during the playthrough.

Ys X: Nordics begins just one month after the events of Ys II. Young adventurer Adol Christin and his trusty companion Dogi head into Obelia Bay for a new adventure. While in Obelia Bay, Adol meets Karja Balta, the daughter of the Balta Navy leader and the game’s heroine. Players may set sail with The Sandras ship in order to explore islands, battle monsters and Griegers, and uncover secrets in Obelia Bay.

Here’s an overview of what’s depicted in the trailer:

    • The Sandras
      • Battle at Sea – Use cannonballs to keep the Sandras free from invading Griegers!
      • Naval Boarding – Battles begin as soon as you board an enemy ship. Triumph and get rare items from their treasure chests!
      • Trade with Merchant Vessels – Exchange rare items for gold and materials with merchant ships sailing in Obelia Bay.
    • Growth
      • Trunk – Accumulate EXP and automatically raise a predetermined status as you level up.
