These sales include the original Persona 5 from 2016, Persona 5 Royal, Persona 5: Dancing in Starlight, and Persona 5 Strikers. An estimated total of 17.7 million copies have been sold for the Persona series with Persona 5 taking up roughly 51% of total sales.

This sales update just two months after SEGA confirmed the Persona 5 Royal remaster surpassed 1.7 million copies sold as of March 31, 2023. The Persona franchise sold approximately 3.27 million copies in SEGA’s past fiscal year. Sales for the Persona series have increased by nearly two million when compared to fiscal year ending in March 2022.
