What Is Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba?

It is the Taisho Period in Japan. Tanjiro, a kindhearted boy who sells charcoal for a living, finds his family slaughtered by a demon. To make matters worse, his younger sister Nezuko, the sole survivor, has been transformed into a demon herself.
Though devastated by this grim reality, Tanjiro resolves to become a “demon slayer” so that he can turn his sister back into a human, and kill the demon that massacred his family.
Season 2 of the series saw Tanjiro, Inosuke, Zenitsu, and Nezuko head to the Entertainment District, where they met with Tengen, the Sound Hashira. Here, they battled and defeated Gyuutaro and Daki. Season 3, the Swordsmith Village arc, saw Tanjiro and Nezuko head for a mission at Swordsmith Village. Here, he fights alongside Muichirou, Genya, and Mitsuri against Gyokko and Hantengu.
When Will Demon Slayer Season 4 Release?
As of the time of writing, an official release date for Demon Slayer Season 4 has yet to be announced. Studio Ufotable and the production team have remained tight-lipped about when we’ll be able to watch the next season of the series.
Following the recent release patterns, Season 4 should be expected to air in the Summer of 2024. Generally, the series has been taking exactly one year to produce new seasons from studio Ufotable. This could get pushed back to Fall; however, it is up to the production committee to decide how long the animators and studio will have to finish it.
What Will Season 4 of Demon Slayer Cover?
Season 4 of Kimetsu no Yaiba will cover the Hashira Training and Infinity Castle arc. The first arc is only nine chapters, with the latter being 47, so it should be expected that this season might be longer.
This would pave the way for Season 5 of the series to be the last season.
