Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 New Trailer & Character Artwork Revealed

    It's almost time.

Last night, MAPPA revealed a brand new trailer for Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 at MAPPA STAGE 2023. This season covers both the Hidden Inventory / Premature Death arc and the Shibuya Incident arc. The new trailer showcases the first arc, Hidden Inventory / Premature Death, which will begin airing in July for the first cour of Season 2. You can check out the brand-new trailer below.

Season 2 of Jujutsu Kaisen will have each cour consecutively aired, so there will not be a break before the Shibuya Incident arc begins. Speaking of which, brand new character artwork was revealed for this arc last night for Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2, though not in the form of a trailer.

For Season 2, there has been a change in direction. Shouta Goshozono is now at the helm, replacing Seong-Hu Park, who was in charge of both Season 1 and Jujutsu Kaisen 0. Goshozono participated in Season 1 as the Episode Director (ED) in charge of Episode 17. This is somewhat noticeable with the simplification of the art used this season, but it will benefit it greatly when it comes to fight scenes for fluid animation. The production staff can be found listed below.
