During the WonHobby Gallery 2023 Spring event, Good Smile Company announced a new Pop Up Parade figure series for the popular Psycho-Pass anime is in development. In 2023, the Psycho-Pass series celebrates its 10th anniversary with the release of the new film, Psycho-Pass Providence.
Good Smile Company’s official Twitter account reveals Pop Up Parade figures of Shinya Kogami, Akane Tsunemori, and Shogo Makishima are in development. Official artwork of these three characters were shown as work on these new figures begin. These figures commemorate the 10th anniversary of Psycho-Pass this year, but an official release date was not revealed. Fans may also look forward to a new Shogo Makishima Nendoroid figure, which is in the prototype phase.

Fans in the west may view the new Psycho-Pass Providence movie in Japanese with English subtitles and English dub on July 14. Special advanced fan screenings will be held on July 11 and July 13. Fans in the U.K. and Ireland can expect the new Psycho-Pass film to arrive on August 2. Crunchyroll plans on bringing the movie to more countries around the world, and premiere dates for other regions will be revealed later this year.
Psycho-Pass Providence stars the iconic duo of Akane Tsunemori and Shinya Kogami. The film depicts story that connects Psycho-Pass’s third season with the prior film, Psycho-Pass: Sinners of the System Case. 3: On the Other Side of Love and Hate. Kana Hanazawa and Tomokazu Seki reprise their roles as Akane and Shinya respectively. Moreover, Production I.G. produced the new Psycho-Pass film with lead director Naoyoshi Shiotani. Psycho-Pass Providence debuted in Japanese theaters on May 12, garnering positive reception from critics and fans alike.
Lastly, Psycho-Pass Providence premieres July 14 in North America via official distributor Crunchyroll. The first two seasons are available to stream now on Crunchyroll, and the third season is available now through Amazon Prime Video.
