Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom – Where Are the Divine Beasts?

The Divine Beasts are nowhere to be found.

If you played Breath of the Wild, it’s likely that you’re extremely familiar with the Divine Beasts. These four ancient pieces of technology served as the dungeons for BOTW, as you had to navigate to each of them during your playthrough and free them from the evil lurking within. Just where are these Divine Beasts in the sequel, Tears of the Kingdom?

In Tears of the Kingdom, there are multiple maps for you to fill out and explore. With such a large surface area to cover, you might just wonder to yourself where the Divine Beasts are located this time around. If you’re like us and have been keeping an eye out for quite some time, you might even be curious if they’re in Tears of the Kingdom or not. Here’s everything you need to know about where the Divine Beasts are in TOTK.

Unfortunately, the Divine Beasts are nowhere to be found in Tears of the Kingdom. This could be for a variety of reasons, however, it is unknown where they are resting at this time. As you explore the changed world of Hyrule, there unfortunately are not any clues to this either.

None of the villages or regions you visit have any indication of what exactly happened to the Divine Beasts. You can make your own assumptions regarding where these pieces of technology might have gone, but unfortunately, unless a developer confirms their whereabouts we will not know where they are located.

Even though there are a total of four Divine Beasts, none of them have been located in Hyrule as of now.

No, there are not any new Divine Beasts in TOTK. In Breath of the Wild, there are a grand total of four divine beasts. Each region of the world is home to one Divine Beast, with there being a champion who is set to operate it.

This system was reserved for BOTW and does not carry over to Tears of the Kingdom. Instead, more traditional dungeons have found their way into Hyrule. Many fans were extremely pleased to hear this, especially since there are some who did not finish Breath of the Wild for this reason.
