The staff for the anime adaptation of Hitsuji Gondaira’s Mission: Yozakura Family (Yozakura-san Chi no Daisakusen) manga just revealed a new promotional video and visual for the second cour of the second season. The video previews the opening theme song, “Forever Song” by Humbreaders, and the ending theme song, “I’m still breathing” by KID PHENOMENON. It also reveals that the second cour will premiere on October 11.

Mirai Minato is the chief director of the anime at SILVER LINK and is also overseeing the series scripts. Takahiro Nakatsugawa, who worked as a storyboard artist and episode director on the first season, is directing the anime. Mizuki Takahashi is the character designer, Kōji Fujimoto is the composer, and Tōru Kanegae serves as the sound director.
The first season premiered on April 7, 2024, and consisted of 27 episodes. Fans can watch the first season in English or Japanese on Hulu. The second season premiered on April 12, and the first part concluded on June 28 with the 39th episode. Hitsuji Gondaira launched Mission: Yozakura Family in 2019, and Shueisha publishes the manga series on MANGA Plus. Yen Press is also publishing the manga series in print.
