What is Dunkelheit For?
Dunkelheit is an incredibly rare Elixer-type flower. It can be used to make many powerful curative items like Elixers.
I’ll gush about the Elixer item really quickly because it carried to the final boss and beyond. Dunkelheit is the main ingredient in this item. Elixer is a cure-all for the entire party that can revive KO, cure Status Effects, remove Debuffs, Heal HP, and Regen HP over time. Add traits that give your party buffs and you’re all set! Dunkelheit is required to make Elixers and also starts the part of the tree that handles the KO revival.
How to Find
I only found one area in the entire game that has this item, and it’s a rare drop on top of that. You must go to Underworld Orim’s Great Tree of Urdis and head east. There are two tufts of grass that you can hand-pick
in front of two stone monuments. You may have to do several runs to get enough to make what you need. Be prepared to take about a minute to run from the Great Tree of Urdis to their spawn location. I also recommend increasing your gathering quality via the Skill Tree to improve your odds.
