Atelier Ryza 3: Summoned Beasts Guide

Summoned Beasts make their return from Ryza 2! This time there are three of them! The Spirit Beast isn’t so lonely anymore. These new Beasts have some handy abilities. Use our Atelier Ryza 3 Summoned Beasts Guide to help you get them all!

    Creating the ‘Summoner’s Bell’

In order to use Summoned Beasts you must first create the Summoner’s Bell. It is unlocked after you build the Atelier in Cleria.

The necessary items needed to synthesize the Summoner’s Bell are an Iron Ingot and a Large Bone.

Upgrading the Summoner’s Bell makes your Beasts faster and enhances their abilities. The items needed to get these upgrades includes: Puni materials, Magical materials,  more Large Bones, and Startium.

    Spirit Beast

    • Unlocks: Story Progression
    • Ability: Dig up materials

The Spirit Beast is the first beast you get and you don’t have to do anything special to obtain it. Its ability is digging up materials and a high movement speed.

    Water Beast

    • Unlocks: Complete Quest “Ruffian of the Waterfall”
    • Ability: Swim up waterfalls

The Water Beast can be used underwater too! Being able to swim up waterfalls is a handy ability that lets you discover new areas and is even necessary to complete some side content.

    Land Beast

    • Unlocks: Complete World Quest ‘News and Information’ to Unlock another World Quest Called ‘The Land Beast’; complete World Quest ‘The Land Beast’
    • Ability: Smash rocks up

The Land Beast breaks up rocks that need clearing for many side quests and non-story exploration. Be sure to upgrade the Summoner’s Bell so that the Land Beast can break more rock types!
