WayForward announced a River City Girls 2 performance patch is currently in the works to address various technical issues in the game. The upcoming patch is coming all versions of River City Girls 2, so players can expect performance improvements across the board.
According to WayForward, the new River City Girls 2 performance patch is nearly finished in testing. The developer is preparing to submit the patch to first parties for approval. Once the patch has been approved, WayForward will announce a release date for the update on all platforms. Arc System Works will handle the update’s rollout for Japanese and Asian versions of the game.
The new patch targets improvements for overall game performance and frame rate. Additionally, the new patch includes the ability to repeat New Game+ playthroughs. Players can expect a whole host of bug fixes as well.
Lastly, River City Girls 2 is available now for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
