Dragon Ball FighterZ rollback netcode update announced

During EVO 2022, Bandai Namco producer Tomoko Hiroki announced Dragon Ball FighterZ will receive rollback netcode in a new update.

The rollback netcode update comes to the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC versions of Dragon Ball FighterZ. Players will be able to upgrade to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S versions through upgrade paths such as smart delivery.

Development of Dragon Ball FighterZ will be complete following the new update. The game will not receive further balance updates or new DLC. However, the rollback netcode update provides a refined online experience to cap off multiple years of game support.

Dragon Ball FighterZ is available now for Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. Lastly, here’s an overview of the game from the official Steam page:
