Kingdom Hearts III released 3 years ago worldwide on January 29th, 2019

Its already been 3 years since Kingdom Hearts III released worldwide for PS4 and Xbox One! On January 29th 2019, players embarked on another journey with Sora as he gathers up strength and allies to battle against Xehanort and his forces of darkness. With the coming of a new Keyblade War, Sora learns that he must pay a price for his powers at play. KH III also marked a pivotal point in the series as the end of the Xehanort saga. Upon completing KH III, players were greeted to the epilogue and secret movie. Both pieces of content would reveal major truths such as Luxu’s whereabouts, returning characters and elements from Tetsuya Nomura’s past works.

Kingdom Hearts III: ReMind DLC would come a year later in 2020, adding more story content and reveals into what’s next for the upcoming Kingdom Hearts saga. Players would also follow up the events of KH III with Kairi in Kingdom Hearts: Melody of Memory, a rhythm action game. This year, players on Switch would finally be about to play Kingdom Hearts III with the recently released cloud version. Fans also eagerly await news and announcements with the Kingdom Hearts 20th Anniversary event arriving on April 10th. In the meantime, Kingdom Hearts: Dark Road final story update is coming soon this winter.
