TMS Entertainment has announced that Lupin III vs. Detective Conan The Movie will be available to stream for free in English dub through its YouTube channel for a limited time from October 24. A new selection of Detective Conan episodes will stream on Netflix too, starting November 1.
TMS Entertainment will make the film available to be streamed here:
The movie first released in Japan in December 2013. The video’s description adds this about the film:
Kid the Phantom Thief has committed another diamond robbery. This time Kid acts out of his character. He not only uses a real gun, also a yakatabune houseboat to make his getaway. While in pursuit of Kid, Conan’s skateboard is split into two by Goemon Ishikawa XIII; only then does Conan realize that the Kid is actually Lupin the 3rd in disguise!
This will be the fourth selection of Detective Conan episodes to join Netflix, after the previous collection began to stream in May. Gōshō Aoyama’s Detective Conan manga made its debut in Shogakukan’s Weekly Shonen Sunday magazine in 1994. Lastly, VIZ Media releases the manga in English and describes it as follows:
Ghastly beheadings, bloody murders, and coldhearted child abductions–
Precocious high school student Jimmy Kudo uses his keen powers of observation and astute intuition to solve mysteries that have left law enforcement officials baffled. Hot on the trail of a suspect, Jimmy is accosted from behind and fed a strange chemical that physically transforms him into a grade schooler! Taking on the pseudonym Conan Edogawa, he attempts to track down the people who did this to him. However, until he finds a cure for his bizarre condition, Jimmy continues to assist the police in solving their most challenging cases.
Can you crack the case before Conan does?
