Sony Interactive Entertainment and Firesprite Games have announced Until Dawn 2, the long-awaited sequel to the critically acclaimed Until Dawn. Featuring a completely standalone story, Until Dawn 2 is currently in development for a 2027 release on PlayStation 5.

Brand new story

Our cast this time is a crew of ghost hunters, the faces behind the wildly popular paranormal channel, Dead True.. Only, well… they’ve never actually seen anything supernatural. The scares they are known for are, let’s say, a little staged. But all that changes when for the very first time, they come face-to-face with real horrors and must start living up to their reputation to survive until dawn.

Having just signed a deal with a big TV network, the crew gets shipped off to an abandoned tropical island for their first fully funded episode. At first, it’s all sun, sand, secrets… plus some very not-safe-for-the-workplace drama as their complicated relationships bubble to the surface.

Of course, there’s more to this beautiful island than meets the eye. Beneath this blissful exterior, hide dreadful and heartbreaking secrets – centuries old and hungry for vengeance… and our crew have landed right in the middle of it.

Chasing likes might have brought them here, but survival quickly becomes the only metric that counts. Will you help them escape to tell the world their story, or will they become just another haunted legend, claimed by the island?

Stuntman: Hollywood Announced for PlayStation 5, Releases in 2027

PlayStation announced Stuntman: Hollywood at its State of Play presentation, which will release in 2027. A PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC release has been confirmed for this reboot of a PlayStation 2 classic from developer Saber.

Stuntman: Hollywood promises arcade racing fun with the spectacle of Hollywood style stunts. Saber Interactive has also revealed that it will feature collaborations with “fan-favorite Universal Pictures films and NBCUniversal TV shows like Fast & Furious, Back to the Future, Knight Rider, Miami Vice, and Death Race.”

There will be both “episodes” with specific goals and more open “free stunts” that come together to make each film. A variety of different levels and vehicles (from cars to bikes to buses) will allow the player to show off their skills by earning stars to earn more prestigious stunt awards for the current film. The player can take those awards to the Garage afterwards to celebrate their accomplishments. “Speed, pressure, and spectacle” were at the top of Saber’s priorities, which also cited Stuntman, Burnout, and Split/Second as influences.

The original Stuntman game released in 2002, from Reflections Interactive. Later, Stuntman: Ignition released for PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360 in 2007. Lastly, Stuntman: Hollywood will release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. The Steam page describes the game as follows:

Control Resonant Releases on September 24

Remedy Entertainment has announced that Control Resonant will release for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on September 24. Additionally, a new story trailer has released. 

The new story trailer showcases more of what players can expect as they take control of Dylan’s narrative. It also hints at the involvement of Jesse Faden, the broader FBC, and the missing Dr. Darling. Pre-orders will go live today, and offer a Hiss Corruption outfit, an Occult outfit, and a Pickpocket’s Tool artifact. Additionally, a deluxe edition will offer digital artwork, a digital soundtrack, an artifact and resonance bundle, and an AWE Mission outfit. Check out the new trailer for Control Resonant below:

Bancho the Chef Revealed as Dave the Diver Prequel

MINTROCKET has announced Bancho the Chef, a new cooking adventure game serving as a prequel to the studio’s critically acclaimed Dave the Diver. Bancho the Chef is currently in development for PlayStation 5.

Before then, the Dave the Diver “In the Jungle” DLC will launch on June 18, and physical Complete Edition and Collector’s Edition copies will ship in Q3 2026 for Nintendo Switch 2 and PlayStation 5 via Silver Lining Interactive. The Dave the Diver Complete Edition includes In the Jungle, all previously released DLC, and the full game on one disc/game card, while Collector’s Edition contents include the Complete Edition, an acrylic standee, four metal pin badges, an acrylic keyring, a pendant necklace, two Marinca cards, a poster, and four postcards. 

Dave the Diver is available now on Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store.

Konami and Screen Burn have announced that Silent Hill: Townfall will release on September 24 for PlayStation 5 and PC. Additionally, a new trailer has released, showcasing the game’s story.

Silent Hill: Townfall will release on PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store in 2026. Silent Hill f, the latest game in the series, is available now for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, Windows, and GOG. The staff of Silent Hill f includes producer Okamoto, scriptwriter Ryukishi07, composers Akira Yamaoka and Kensuke Inage, and character and creature designer kera. Suzie Yeung stars as protagonist Hinako in the English dub.

Ace Combat 8: Wings of Theve Launches October 2

Bandai Namco and Bandai Namco Aces have announced that Ace Combat 8: Wings of Theve launches on October 2 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. Pre-orders are available now for $69.99, and players will receive a digital port of Ace Combat Zero: The Belkan War as a pre-order bonus alongside an unlocked playable in-game F-14A aircraft. 

Pre-orders for the Ace Combat 8: Wings of Theve Joker Flight Pack are also available now in the Bandai Namco Store for $149.99. The exclusive pack includes everything in the Deluxe Edition alongside The Vinyl Collection, a premium set that includes two LP vinyl records of the soundtrack, the official 200-page “ACES at WAR HISTORY 2029” artbook, a collectible slipcase, and a slipmat.

Bandai Namco also revealed its first Premium Ace Pass for Ace Combat 8: Wings of Theve, which can be purchased separately and is also included with the Deluxe Edition’s Premium Ace Pass Plus Voucher. The Premium Ace Pass grants an instant unlock of 30 Ace Pass levels with bonus rewards like aircraft skins, avatar costumes, and the playable ADFX-02 MORGAN –PIXY additional aircraft.

In addition, two new trailers were released to give fans insight into the Campaign Mode featuring characters from Wings of Theve’s squadron Joker Flight, which includes Baxter, Tasha, and Coster, together known as the Joker Flight. Ace Combat 8: Wings of Theve also features online multiplayer modes, which will be revealed between now and launch.

Previously, Bandai Namco released the “Strangereal Evolution Episode 1” trailer to celebrate the franchise’s 30th anniversary and look back at earlier entries in the series.  “Strangereal Evolution Episode 2” took a look at the advancements made since Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown, including improved clouds and maneuvers, in Unreal Engine 5. An Ace Combat 8: Wings of Theve developer diary video was also released.

The Ace Combat series soundtrack is now streaming on various music distribution websites, including Apple Music and Spotify. An Ace Combat 1 Hour Mix is also streaming now on YouTube.

Dune: Awakening Releases for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on September 22

PlayStation has announced that Dune: Awakening will release on September 22 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S with a new single player mode. A new trailer has also released during the June 2 State of Play. 

Pre-orders are now live with special rewards depending on the version. A deluxe edition costs $69.99, while the ultimate edition costs $89.99. The standard edition costs $49.99. Check out the trailer for Dune: Awakening below:

MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls Reveals Magneto, Green Goblin, and Carnage

PlayStation and Arc System Works have revealed that Carnage, Magneto, and Green Goblin will be part of the roster for MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls. They join Doctor Doom’s team, titled the Knights of Doom.

The Knights of Doom join the previous teams of the Amazing Guardians, Fighting Avengers, and Unbreakable X-Men. The previously announced members of the launch roster include Peni Parker, Storm, Magik, Danger, Wolverine, Captain America (Steve Rogers), Doctor Doom, Ghost Rider (Robbie Reyes), Iron Man, Ms. Marvel (Kamala Khan), Spider-Man (Peter Parker), Black Panther (Shuri), Hulk, and Star-Lord. 20 characters will be available at launch.

MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls will release on August 6 for PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store. Pre-orders are available now featuring the Infinity Gauntlet lobby equipment, Cosmic Surfboard lobby ride, and Baby Groot lobby pet.

An Ultimate Edition will be available to purchase, which will include a Year One Character and Stage Pass (which features 4 playable characters and an extra stage), a Howard the Duck lobby avatar, a Cosmo lobby pet, different colors for all 20 characters, and the following costumes:

  • Spider-Man – Advanced Suit 2.0 From Marvel’s Spider-Man 2
  • Storm – Punk Rock Costume

Onimusha: Way of the Sword Launches September 25, Demo Available Today

Capcom has announced that Onimusha: Way of the Sword will release on September 25 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. A free demo for Onimusha: Way of the Sword will be available starting today, June 2. 

Previously, Director Nihei of the Onimusha: Way of the Sword development team confirmed that the new action game entered its final stages of development.

Final Weapon had the chance to preview the game during Summer Game Fest 2025, stating that “Onimusha: Way of the Sword looks absolutely incredible.”

Lastly, the Steam page describes Onimusha: Way of the Sword as follows:

Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis Releases on February 10, 2027

 Amazon Game Studios, Crystal Dynamics and Flying Wild Hog have announced that Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis will release on February 12, 2027 for Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam Pre-orders will go live later today.

If you pre-order the game, which costs $60, you’ll get the Survivor outfit themed around the Tomb Raider reboot trilogy and 48-hour early access. Additionally, the deluxe edition (which costs $70), offers the Parisian outfit and a post-launch story DLC pack. Both outfits will be an early unlock and can be retrieved even without the extra purchase. Further, a new trailer for the remake has been released, which shows off more of the game’s gorgeous visuals, gameplay, and story.
