PC System Requirements for Red Dead Redemption 2 have been released

Following the announcement on Friday, Rockstar have released the PC system requirements for Red Dead Redemption 2. Once again you can now pre-purchase the game via Rockstar’s Game Launcher and receive both an upgrade from the Standard Edition and 2 free games.

RAM: 8GB

Nintendo is currently hiring level designers and a Scenario Planner for Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild sequel

Nintendo of Japan tweeted out a notice for recruitment to their Kyoto studio. Nintendo is seeking more level designers and a “Scenario Planner” for Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild’s sequel. The sequel to Breath of the Wild was announced at E3 2019 during Nintendo’s direct. Lastly, more information is available here.

Code Vein update 1.04 adds spooky Halloween accessories in late October

Bandai Namco is releasing update 1.04 for Code Vein in late October. This update adds Halloween themed accessories, color pallets, face paints and more! A few gameplay tweaks will be added as well. Full patch notes will be available once the update is out.

DOOM Eternal and DOOM 64 delayed to March 20th 2020, Switch version of DOOM Eternal releases after March 20th

Bethesda and ID Software have announced a delay for DOOM Eternal and DOOM 64. Instead of the intended November release, both will now release on March 20th, 2020. DOOM 64 will be a pre-order bonus for DOOM Eternal as well. The Switch version will release sometime afterwards, more information will be detailed at a later date. PS5 releases in holiday 2020, new next-gen controller details

PlayStation has just confirmed that their next-gen console will arrive in holiday 2020! In addition, PlayStation detailed new features coming with the next-gen controller. Haptic feedback will replace rumble in the new controller, giving a more precise and broader range of feedback. Adaptive triggers will be in the new controller as well. With adaptive triggers, developers can develop resistance and other features into those triggers. Developers and publishers have started to receive early versions of these controllers according to PlayStation. More will be shared about the PS5 at a later date. Monster Hunter World reaches 14 million shipments and digital sales

Capcom has announced that Monster Hunter World has reached 14 million shipments and digital sales! This is another milestone for the game, reaching 13 million just a couple months ago. The recent expansion, Iceborne, fueled sales even further for the massively successful title.

PS4 update 7.00 adds party chat and remote play enhancements, releases on October 8th

PlayStation has announced some features coming with PS4 update 7.00! In this update, party chat and remote play are getting enhancements. The maximum number of players in party chat has been doubled from 8 to 16. In addition, audio quality and network connectivity is improved as well. It seems that the back end of party chat has been optimized by PlayStation (finally!).

Next up, remote play will be enabled for smartphones and tablets running Android 5.0 or higher. Players will then be able to use Dualshock 4 controllers on Android and iOS. Touhou Sky Arena: Matsuri Climax physical edition for Switch releases on February 27th 2020 in Japan

Area Zero has announced a physical Switch release for Touhou Sky Arena: Matsuri Climax! It releases on February 27th 2020 in Japan. The standard edition costs 3,900 yen and the limited edition costs 6,900 yen. The limited edition includes 10 new DLC songs, battle songs CD, 60 page art-book and 10 special post-cards.

Preorders for the physical edition open on October 7th. Touhou Sky Arena: Matsuri Climax is available now digitally for PS4, PS Vita and Switch. Here’s the new trailer:
