PlayStation has just confirmed that their next-gen console will arrive in holiday 2020! In addition, PlayStation detailed new features coming with the next-gen controller. Haptic feedback will replace rumble in the new controller, giving a more precise and broader range of feedback. Adaptive triggers will be in the new controller as well. With adaptive triggers, developers can develop resistance and other features into those triggers. Developers and publishers have started to receive early versions of these controllers according to PlayStation. More will be shared about the PS5 at a later date.
