The staff of the anime adaptation of Joumyaku and Mizuki Yoda’s MARRIAGETOXIN manga series have announced that MARRIAGETOXIN Season 2 in the works for a 2027 premiere. A new trailer was released, and Joumyaku and Mizuki Yoda also commented on MARRIAGETOXIN Season 2.
“MARRIAGETOXIN is getting a second anime season! When I first heard, I was floored — ‘Are you serious!?’ I’m beyond grateful… No amount of thanks could ever be enough, but this is all thanks to everyone who has cheered us on,” Joumyaku said. “I’m hella grateful (hella grateful…)!! Thanks to the anime staff, who make the original work 1000% more amazing, and the voice cast, who breathe life into the characters with their incredible performances, I can’t wait to see Gero, Kinosaki, and the rest of the gang again!! And in Season 2, charming and wildly unpredictable new characters join the mix and run rampant every which way — so please look forward to it!!!!”
Mizuki Yoda added, “Thank you so much for green-lighting Season 2! It’s all thanks to everyone who has always supported us. I absolutely love the Season 1 opening and ending and have had them on repeat — so the thought that we get new ones for Season 2 too…! has me incredibly excited already. Season 1 of MARRIAGETOXIN is streaming now on Crunchyroll with English subtitles and an English dub.
Yurina Hirate performs opening theme song “Kill or Kiss,” and singer-songwriter AKASAKI will perform the ending theme song “Shake Na Baby.”
