PS4 update 7.00 adds party chat and remote play enhancements, releases on October 8th

PlayStation has announced some features coming with PS4 update 7.00! In this update, party chat and remote play are getting enhancements. The maximum number of players in party chat has been doubled from 8 to 16. In addition, audio quality and network connectivity is improved as well. It seems that the back end of party chat has been optimized by PlayStation (finally!).

Next up, remote play will be enabled for smartphones and tablets running Android 5.0 or higher. Players will then be able to use Dualshock 4 controllers on Android and iOS. Lastly, more information is available in PlayStation’s official blog post. Stay tuned at Final Weapon for more of the latest gaming news!
