Suda51 and Swery announce Hotel Barcelona, horror game published by Devolver Digital

Suda51 and Swery have announced their secret project during IGN Japan’s live stream. The project is a horror game called Hotel Barcelona. The game is in the early conceptual stages so it will be a while before we see it in action.

Hotel Barcelona is influenced by Siren, a cult classic horror game by Keiichiro Toyama. Toyama is also involved in the Hotel Barcelona project with Suda51 and Swery. Early plans for the game involve story being provided through different perspectives from various characters.

Suda51 and Swery’s project is in very early stages. Its worth noting that many aspects of the game may change over time. Devolver Digital is publishing the game and helping to fund it with roughly 100 million yen (1 million dollars). Next week, Swery will come up with more concepts for the game and Suda will design a logo.

Lastly, platforms for the game are unknown but the team is thinking about mobile, Stadia and Switch. Stay tuned at Final.Weapon for the latest gaming news!
