Cross Save feature for Destiny 2 launches on August 21st

It has been announced that Destiny 2’s Cross Save feature will be launching on August 21st. This will allow players to play their save from any console and pick the same save up from a different one. You can read more about Cross Save below.

    Play your characters anywhere.

With Cross Save, you’ll be able to access the same set of Guardians on one Active Account wherever you play Destiny.

    Bring Your Gear!

Your gear, weapons, and loot across all platforms.

    Play Anywhere

Whatever you earn on one platform can be equipped wherever you play.

Cross Save enables you to choose one Destiny player account (your Active Account) that you can access from wherever you choose to play. Although this is not a permanent action, we did build this new feature as something that players will activate just once to support a hobby that spans more than one platform where Destiny can be played.

Destiny 2 is available on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.

Sony on Death Stranding: The title is planned to be available on PC (after PS4)

Recently Sony has removed their upcoming console exclusive, Death Stranding, from their list of exclusives on PlayStation.com. After this discovery, Eurogamer took the initiative to dive deeper into this situation. They discovered that back in 2015, PlayStation community manager Pad Poet responded to various questions about the game in a now deleted, but archived, FAQ. This FAQ reveals that Death Stranding was always going to be a console exclusive, rather than a PlayStation exclusive. This leaves the door open for the game to come to PC, Stadia, Mobile, basically anything other than consoles. Sony confirmed back in 2015 that the game is planned for a PC release after the PlayStation release. At the time, Sony declined to share any details on how long the exclusivity would last.

Q: “What other platforms will Kojima’s first independent title be available on, besides PS4?”

A: “The title is planned to become available on PC (after PS4).”

    XIII remake delayed to 2020

Those waiting for the XIII remake will, unfortunately, have to wait just a little bit longer. Today the developer and publisher have announced that the game has been pushed back to sometime in 2020. The Head of Production at Microïds had the following to say on the matter:

“We are thrilled with PlayMagic’s work so far. This additional development time is needed to reach the level of polish we’re aiming for. The announcement was greeted by an overwhelming response from the community and we’ll make sure to deliver the best possible game to our fans.

It’s saddening to hear this, but it hopefully will mean good for the game. A more polished game means a better game for us. For those of you that haven’t heard of this game, it will be a remake of 2003’s XIII. You play as Thirteen, accused of assassinating the US president. After waking up not remembering anything of your past, you must progress through in order to discover the truth and clear your name.

XIII will release for PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PC, and Mac.
