Sony Interactive Entertainment and Polyphony Digital have announced that Gran Turismo 7 update 1.70 will release on June 11 featuring five new cars, a new Extra Menu, new World Circuits events, and a featured Curation. Most notably, Gran Turismo 7 update 1.70 has a focus on endurance racing prototypes.
The new update will introduce the BMW M Hybrid V8 ’25, Ferrari 499P ’23, Peugeot 9X8 ’25, Porsche 963 ’24, and Porsche 911 Turbo S Safety Car (992) vehicles. Players can collect the vehicles to fulfill the requirements for the latest Extra Menu item in the GT Café, [Extra Menu No. 54] Collection: Hybrid Prototypes (Collector Level 64 and above).
Update 1.70 adds the following World Circuits events:
- European FR Challenge 550
- Eiger Nordwand Reverse
- Pickup Truck Race
- Fishermans Ranch
- Gr.1 Prototype Series
- Watkins Glen Long Course
- 24 Heures du Mans Racing Circuit
- Sardegna – Road Track – A
“Pikes Peak” will become a featured Curation in Scapes with update 1.70.

Polyphony Digital released the Gran Turismo 7 Spec III update and Power Pack DLC on December 4, 2025. The update introduced a slew of content, including eight new cars, a new cinematic intro, a data logger feature, a new Circuit Experience, the Yas Marina Circuit and Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve tracks, and much more. Power Pack released for $29.99 and features 50 races spanning 20 categories, including 24-hour endurance races. The recent version 1.69 update added the Power Pack Challenges Mode with additional content for owners of the DLC.
Gran Turismo 7 and the game’s free demo, My First GT, available now for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. Players may complete the demo to earn bonuses in Gran Turismo 7. Regular updates can be found at the official Gran Turismo blog.
