Square Enix has revealed its Patch 7.5x schedule for Final Fantasy XIV with first details on the upcoming Dancing Mad (Ultimate) raid featuring Kefka, the antagonist of Final Fantasy VI. The Patch 7.5x schedule sets the stage for Final Fantasy XIV: Evercold and its major update, Patch 8.0.
Firstly, Final Fantasy XIV Patch 7.5 Trail to the Heavens will launch on April 28 with new main scenario quests, a new Trial, and Echoes of Vana’diel Part 3. Alongside the patch, the Final Fantasy XIV Free Trial will include the Shadowbringers expansion and all content up to Patch 5.58.
On June 2, Patch 7.51 will introduce New Cosmic Exploration Star “Auxesia,” new Custom Deliveries: Tiisol Ja, and Dancing Mad (Ultimate). Tetsuya Nomura was directly involved in the development of the Kefka Dancing Mad (Ultimate) raid, according to Final Fantasy XIV producer and director Naoki Yoshida on stage. There will be new voice acting for the raid as well.
Final Fantasy XIV Patch 7.55 will release on July 28 with new updates to Inconceivably Further Hildibrand Adventures quests, the debut of Occult Crescent: North Horn, and new Phantom Weapon quests. The second part of the main scenario will arrive with Final Fantasy XIV Patch 7.56 on September 8 alongside the long-awaited Beastmaster job.
The Final Fantasy XIV: Evercold expansion will kick off the “Godless Realms Saga” in earnest. Final Fantasy XIV: Evercold beckons players to the reflection of the Fourth when the expansion launches in January 2027. There, players will experience a world being ravaged by ever-spreading ice.
