DMM Games and Shiravune have released a new update for the PC (Steam) version of AQUAPLUS-developed action RPG Utawarerumono: Zan with major bug fixes for display issues. The new Utawarerumono: Zan Steam update also improves performance and stability.
Here are the patch notes for the latest update:
- The game’s display position will now be maintained across sessions in environments with dual displays
- Fixed an issue with Window Mode that caused the window to to move to an improper location the first time its position was adjusted
- Fixed an issue with the rendering of shadows
- Improved the game’s FPS performance and stability
- Updated the game’s behavior to default to using Traditional Chinese rather than English when the system language is Simplified Chinese
- Various minor fixes and adjustments
What’s more, DMM Games, Shiravune, and Aquaplus will release Utawarerumono: Shiro e no Michishirube worldwide with the English title Utawarerumono: Past and Present Rediscovered. Utawarerumono: Past and Present Rediscovered will release on May 28 for PC via Steam, day-and-date with the Japanese release.
Utawarerumono: Shiro e no Michishirube will launch on May 28 for Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam for 8,580 yen in Japan. Utawarerumono: Shiro e no Michishirube will be release alongside the Nintendo Switch 2 version of Monochrome Mobius: Rights and Wrongs Forgotten in a “Double Pack” for 14,080 yen. Both games will be Game-Key Card titles on Switch 2.
In addition, Utawarerumono: Zan 2 is coming to PC via Steam on February 25 in English, Japanese, and Traditional Chinese.
