AQUAPLUS has announced that the Utawarerumono: Lost Flag mobile game will be shutting down on April 23, 2026 after more than six years of service. All in-game purchases have been disabled effective immediately, and refunds for unused paid gems will be available from April 23 to July 13. An offline version of Utawarerumono: Lost Flag for Android and iOS was not announced, so players will only have a few months to play before servers go dark.
Coincidentally, DMM Games and Shiravune released a new update for the Steam version of AQUAPLUS-developed action RPG Utawarerumono: Zan. The update brought major bug fixes for display issues and improved in-game performance and stability. Utawarerumono: Zan 2 is also coming to PC via Steam on February 25 in English, Japanese, and Traditional Chinese.
What’s more, DMM Games, Shiravune, and AQUAPLUS will release Utawarerumono: Shiro e no Michishirube worldwide with the English title Utawarerumono: Past and Present Rediscovered. Utawarerumono: Past and Present Rediscovered will release on May 28 for PC via Steam, day-and-date with the Japanese release.
In Japan, Utawarerumono: Shiro e no Michishirube will be available for Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam for 8,580 yen. Utawarerumono: Shiro e no Michishirube will be release alongside the Nintendo Switch 2 version of Monochrome Mobius: Rights and Wrongs Forgotten in a “Double Pack” for 14,080 yen. Both games will be Game-Key Card titles on Switch 2.
