Nintendo has announced that Super Mario Bros. Wonder Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Meetup in Bellabel Park will release on March 26. Additionally, the previously announced talking flower peripheral will release on March 12 for $34.99.
The new edition includes a wide variety of different minigames via the Attraction Central in Bellabel Park. These minigames can be played both online, with friends/family locally, and via GameShare. Additionally, Camp Central is a new training camp offered by the Toads, which feature new challenges for players to sink into.
It also adds new levels where you must hunt the Koopalings, Rosalina and Co-Star Luna as new playable characters, and an assist mode. Those who already own the original version of Wonder will only have to pay $20 to upgrade to the Switch 2 edition. Check out the trailer for Super Mario Bros. Additionally, the upcoming Talking Flower peripheral also received a new trailer. The trailer outlines its features, such as its ability to talk at select times of the day, sense the room temperature and comment on it, and supports multiple different languages. Super Mario Bros Wonder is Nintendo’s fastest selling Mario game ever with 4.3 million copies sold in just two weeks. The version 1.0 release was relatively bug free, helping it become one of the most critically acclaimed games of 2023 with a high review score from Final Weapon.
Lastly, Super Mario Bros. Wonder is available now for Nintendo Switch. The Switch 2 edition will release on March 26, 2026.
