Shochiku has released a new trailer for the L’étoile de Paris en Fleur original anime film, revealing new cast members and the theme song. Ryokuō-shoku Shakai performs the theme song “Kaze ni Noru (Ride the Wind)”

Gorō Taniguchi directs the anime film at Arvo Animation. Reiko Yoshida wrote the script, and Ghibli character designer Katsuya Kondō and Taniguchi are drafting the original character designs. Set in the early 1900s, L’étoile de Paris en Fleur follows two Japanese girls that want to make their dreams come true and become stars. Fujiko aspires to be a painter, while Chizuru wants to delve deeper into ballet. They meet by chance in Yokohama and later meet in Paris, where they decide to strive for their dreams together.
