The official website for the anime adaptation of Sinnoa’s SSS-Class Revival Hunter web novel has released a new trailer, revealing more new cast members and ending theme song artists THE SPELLBOUND and Boom Boom Satellites.
As previously announced, SSS-Class Revival Hunter will premiere in January 2027, and Crunchyroll will stream the anime worldwide, excluding Asia, with availability in the Indian subcontinent, Indonesia, Singapore, the Philippines, and Malaysia.
The anime stars Takeo Ōtsuka as Gongja Kim and Satoshi Hino as the Sword Emperor.
The new cast members include:
- Toshiki Masuda as Flame Emperor
- Megumi Han as Witch of the Black Dragon
- Sayaka Kinoshita as Paladin
- Risa Shimizu as Countess
- Makoto Furukawa as Poisonous Viper
- Natsumi Fujiwara as Inquisitor
- Yuka Iguchi as Master Alchemist
- Shunsuke Sakuya as Blade Saint
Hiroaki Sakurai will direct the anime at STUDIO fu. Sayuri Ōba is writing the script, and Takahiro Yoshimatsu is designing the characters. Ryo Kawasaki and Tomoyuki Kono are the music composers.
The original web novel debuted in November 2018, and WuxiaWorld publishes the web novel in English. The webtoon by Neida and Bill K launched in December 2020, which Tapas publishes in English.
