BANDAI CARD GAMES has announced that NARUTO CARD GAME will launch in June 2027 worldwide with three starter decks led by Naruto Uzumaki, Sasuke Uchiha, and Gaara. The game’s first Booster Pack “Enter: Naruto Uzumaki!” will also be available, and ahead of launch, in-store Premier Demo Events will begin in February 2027, followed by a global campaign with the distribution of 1 million Demo Decks in spring 2027. A new teaser trailer was also release featuring original artwork by Studio Pierrot.
NARUTO CARD GAME Premier Demo Events will be held starting February 2027 at
participating TCG stores, allowing fans to try out the cards in person and learn the rules of the game in a relaxed environment. Wave 1 of the rollout begins at select large-scale stores participating in the BANDAI TCG+, with more participating stores added in Wave 2.
In addition, the advance-release Official Playmat – NARUTO VS. SASUKE – and the Premium Card Collection Vol.00 – CHAKRA will be available at Premier Demo Events and Select BANDAI CARD GAMES FEST 26-27 events, which include BANDAI CARD GAMES FEST Orlando and BANDAI CARD GAMES FEST London. More details about Premier Demo Events and the upcoming global campaign will be announced at a later date.
As previously announced, NARUTO CARD GAME features characters and stories from NARUTO, NARUTO: Shippuden, and BORUTO: NARUTO NEXT GENERATIONS. Each player builds around a Leader card with a deck of 51 cards, 5 Chakra cards, and 1 Summon card. Assemble characters in their Leader’s color and attack to reduce the opponent’s Leader’s life to zero.
The Naruto: What’s Next? panel at New York Comic Con 2026 also saw the reveal of Project Rasengan, a 3-year roadmap for the Naruto franchise. Fans can look forward to Masashi Kishimoto’s new Naruto Shadow Rising manga, the global release of the Naruto Mobile game, and much more.
