VIZ Media has announced that an official panel for the Naruto series will be held at New York Comic Con 2026 on October 10 at the Javits Center (North-Level 5: Empire Stage, 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. ET), where a new Naruto project will be unveiled. The Naruto project could be one of the new anime teased in TV Tokyo’s upcoming plans for the 25th anniversary.
The Naruto New York Comic Con 2026 panel will feature “the latest updates on the anime, the NARUTO CARD GAME, and other exciting new projects,” along with a roadmap of the franchise’s future. Special guests for the panel include Junko Takeuchi (voice of Naruto Uzumaki) and Noriaki Sugiyama (voice of Sasuke Uchiha).
NARUTO CARD GAME launches in summer 2027 worldwide as a strategy-focused, competitive trading card game, and it will be appear at multiple events following its Gen Con 2026 debut. NARUTO CARD GAME features characters and stories from NARUTO, NARUTO: Shippuden, and BORUTO: NARUTO NEXT GENERATIONS. Each player builds around a Leader card with a deck of 51 cards, 5 Chakra cards, and 1 Summon card. Assemble characters in their Leader’s color and attack to reduce the opponent’s Leader’s life to zero.
NARUTO CARD GAME made its world debut at Gen Con 2026, which runs from July 30 to August 2 in Indianapolis. Gen Con attendees had a chance to attend the first-ever NARUTO CARD GAME Tutorial Sessions. By joining a Tutorial Session, participants received a gift set containing a CP-001 Chakra Card -Gen Con 2026 Ver.- promotional card, a special backpack, a sticker, and a purchase ticket for a “NARUTO CARD GAME Official Playmat -Arriving in 2027-.”
