Gotcha Gotcha Games has announced the RPG Maker Award 2026, a worldwide award for the best games made with RPG Maker. The award will be bestowed to the winning title based on community votes and final selection by Gotcha Gotcha Games, recognizing games released in full or in early access within the last two years (on January 1, 2024 or later). Nominated titles must also have a Steam Store page and participate in RPG Maker Festival 2026.

Voting for the RPG Maker Award 2026 will be held until December 23 at 6:59 a.m. PST / 9:59 a.m. EST. Other categories and special awards will be announced at a later date, and nominations, votes, and submissions are being accepted from around the world. Gamers can cast their vote for the nominated titles at RPG Maker Award 2026’s official voting page here.

The award will be granted for the first time during RPG Maker Festival 2025, which runs from February 10 to February 24, 2026. RPG Maker Festival celebrates games made in the Maker Series tools, such as RPG Maker and ACTION GAME MAKER. It’s an opportunity for creators to showcase their games and gamers to find their next title to play.

Previously, Final Weapon interviewed ACTION GAME MAKER producer and director Yusuke Morino to learn about the project’s development. In our interview, Morino also discussed his director and producer role, future updates for ACTION GAME MAKER, the team’s challenges while working on AGM, and much more.
