CRITICAL REFLEX has announced that Mouthwashing will release on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch on October 29. A physical edition will release via Fangamer.

Currently, it is unknown when the physical edition of Mouthwashing will launch. Check out the release date trailer for Mouthwashing on consoles below:

Mouthwashing released on PC via Steam in 2024. In our 4.5/5 review, we described it as a “magnificent horror game that accomplishes so much in spite of the limited resources. Despite its short runtime and few gameplay sequences, the sequences that are there create so much tension and add great depth to its main characters. Further, its visual style is filled with surprises that will constantly keep players at the edge of their seats. Mouthwashing is a must-play for any fans of the horror genre.”

The Steam page describes Mouthwashing as follows:

Who could have known what good ol’ Captain Curly was capable of? Guess he thought his crew dying alongside him was only right. But some men can’t even kill themselves properly. Maimed, limbless and unable to speak, but alive, Curly is now at the mercy of the crew he has doomed to a slow death.

Follow the lives of the crew as they weather starvation, isolation, and each other. People were never your strong suit anyway.

The ship will run out of power within six months. Food rations long before that.

Pay attention to your surroundings.

Your eyes are lying.

Hope to die, or for goodness sake, pray that everyone else did.
